UPCOMING DEFENSIVE DRIVING COURSES, Fees: $30.00 for each course

Driver’s handbook (approx. $14.00 each) required for both courses. Available at Licensing Bureaus, some Chapters and Canadian Tire stores. Note: Couples can share one handbook.

 

Annual General Meeting of the Senior Citizens Council on Tuesday, June 8th:

 

“Reclaiming Your Brain”. Enjoy Ann Dobbins, BA., RN, Executive Director of Memory Matters as she speaks and offers hope on this  extremely vital topic. Everyone is welcome. It begins at 1:30 p.m. at the Palisades Retirement Residence, 480 Metcalfe Street (at Isabella Street) in the Ballroom. Refreshments and socializing afterward. Bus #1,  #6, #7 and #101.

A Celebration of Seniors - Afternoon Tea on Wednesday, June 16th:

 

Description:    Join the Senior Citizens Council staff and volunteers for an Afternoon

Tea at the beautiful Duke of Devonshire Retirement Residence, 1095 Carling Avenue.

Time:  2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m. The afternoon is free but reservations are required and

there is limited seating. Please RSVP.
